you maybe don't know, but in the netherlands this is really wrong.
golden name necklaces. In the netherlands wrong people wear these.
with names like anita or kelly, with matching boy friends like sjonnie and
vincent.
it's massively wrong what makes it right! and makes it one of the things you'll
do with your sun glasses en shorts.

i'm not sure yet if i'm going to buy a golden one or a silver one with my name in
it.

another thing is,

i'm really busy at the moment. tomorrow last day of class at school
and one and a half week of deathlines and exams!,..

The thing you neeeeeeeed to have is the Freitag Miami Vice shopping bag!

the super strong, one of any kind, totally cool, even for the whole day, also on the beach, at the grocerystore, and in the shower bag!

Freitag should hire me to make commercials for them,..

i couldn't wait to post more 'bout moi,

so my dress is now at an exposition @ Streetlab Amsterdam.
the exposition is about inovative design. and this is my dress:



This dress is totally made of garbage bags and tule. no sewing, only melting! the concept behind this was over protecting, you couldn't do your own thing, you want to scream, but nothing is possible. thats why her hand can't move and het head is stuck by the colar.


and further i've had this project with school to make a tapestry for Henrik Vibskov and Andreas Emenius! YOU KNOW WHAT! Charlotte and I had worked a week together with Vibskov and Emenius to put the finishing touches on the whole exhebition @ de Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg. THEY ALSO got us onstage at the opening for a THANKS and a gift!(SOCKS AND A SIGNED BOOK!)...

finally!

hey peeps,

i'm promising to start over and keep my promise with you guys/vermicelli (fans spoken in chinese with it's chinese meaning!) to keep my blog up to date!

the last thing i told you about was my skirt.
i've finished my dress and i'm now working
on our last assignment and thats the trenchcoat!

so four weeks to go and then i'm already finished with
my first year at the art academy. time goes fast...

new BEGINNING

first of all i would like to wish
you all a happy (chinese) new year.

2009 a year which will start with
change(OBAMA?) and a year of
chances, beginnings and endings,
love, fun and joy. just remember
to seize the day.


i'm sorry for not writing the last
weeks. it had been a really heavy
and though month. did a lot for
school and had to find my own
happy place. i mean in my physical
and mental space.

but i'm doing good again. i stopped
with my high school thing, so i'm
now an official high school drop-out.
what to do? you need to make sacrifices.
take responsibility and make priorities
there was no feeling it was useful for
myself. there was no discipline in me.



but @ the academy it goes well.
i just finished my first semester,
getting all my study-points! hurray!
the picture above is one of my skirt.
it's called the save grenade. the
concept behind it is about construction,
deconstruction and reconstruction.

i picked up my guitar skills again.
so i'm happy and started to play
a lot of technical stuff by leo brouwer
and i started with recuerdos de la
alhambra. just search it on youtube!

i just got the unmastered EP by WOOT.
the band formerly known as Concrete.
TvT plays the drums and i'm listening
to it right now.

it sounds really great. there music has
really grown in these past months.

i bought an album by "tiago la is losing the plot".
and it's just wonderful. nothing more and
nothing less.

and i've seen into the wild. which made me
take a lot of decisions. and i learned that
even clever people can be to naive sometimes.

i'm reading poems by charles bukowski and
still haven't finished the short stories by miranda
july(almost!).

i just wanted to say,
i'm back........ again

and i'm happy.

i will write soon again.

the winter started a few days ago.

Last weekend i went to switzerland.

so we went by car,...

it's a dutch tv show,.. which
has famouse people driving
there cars, as if it is a dancing
partner, on ice,..

this tv show they also have in
PO-LAND(teletubby's!) and
in Belgium, Gwiazdy tancza na lodzie
and Sterren op het ijs. But they only
have famouse national stars dancing,
because in belgium they are to stupid
to drive and in Po-land they just aren't
stupid enough to dance on the ice
together with there car.

maybe i'm a phatological liar,..

i should've been at school @ 8:50.
but i totally woke up @ 8:37...

so i was too late,..

but the teacher was absent,
today. ofcourse i didn't knew
that. so arrived @ the
screenprint class i got the info.

just finished unpacking my bag,
my phone rang, and it was a
friend of mine which also studies
@ the KABK.

he asked: "Wanna join for a cup
of coffee?". "Ofcourse." I said.

so we went for a cup of coffee
which took us almost 4 hours.

i've seen the city inside-out,..
we went testing the furniture@
debijenkorf, drinking coffee
and eating applepie@dudok,
brain-storming about design
and walked around.

so it was a very productive day!

finally back@class my classmates
asked:"Where have you been?"
"Coffee drinking,.." I said.
they responded that it must have
been a really big cup of coffee,..

i've done pretty productive thing,..
but that's for the next post.

good friends, it's a pleasure
to see y'all again.

i've been back from Warsaw.
and i've been to Antwerp and
back again.

Warsaw is a beautiful city,
thats it. there is no more
about it. the shopping sucked,
the girls looked great @ the
shopping malls(i prefer
brunettes), the beer was a bit
strong and the going out scene
was just like hollywood's (a
really bad, 14year old kids,
disco in rotterdam).

chapter Warsaw is closed.

Antwerp i've been to with
TvT, RvK and DC. we drove to
Antwerp on monday morning,
slept there in some louzy hotel
and drove back thuesday.

we've been shopping (which caused me
to buy a. boon gloves, walter van
beirendonck scarf, casio watch), chillin'
and ate some nice sushi.

and now it's time for a
